I resolved to take a picture a day and post to the Web in July of 2012. This might sound slightly trite, but it has pushed me into noticing my environment a little more. Each day I get to know where I am living a little more. The gallery above shows the last 12 pictures, but the complete feed can be found on the Instagram site. I am also using a plugin to automatically post the latest picture to the homepage.
Taken from the rooftop at The Lofts at Roosevelt Collection. Chicago has an epic skyline.
Taken just outside the Modern Wing of the The Art Institute. This picture nicely sums up winter in Chicago.
The Bean, otherwise known as “Cloud Gate.”
The Metropolitan Correctional Center. More fun to see from the outside, rather than from inside.
The El. How I travel to and from work.
The City of Big Shoulders still has a “working” river.
Taken in my back garden. No zooming or cropping, just standing very close to a confused baby bird (most likely a robin).
